Linea
Linea Johnson is a recent graduate from Seattle University, with a major in English and Creative Writing. Prior to transferring to SU, she completed three years at Columbia University, Chicago, in the musical performance program. Linea is recently worked as an intern at the World Health Organization in the Mental Health department in Geneva, Switzerland. She is a national speaker and writer, advocating for understanding and support for people with mental illness and the elimination of stigma. She has worked and presented with national leaders at BringChange2Mind and One Mind for Research.
In addition to Perfect Chaos she has published articles in journals (The Clearing House, Fragments and Mobility International USA) and continues to work on articles for submissions. Linea has a deep commitment to promoting positive mental health and decreasing the stigma that mental illness carries. She has travelled the country presenting her story and speaking about the importance of advocacy and empowerment at national and international mental health, educational and disability conferences. When Linea is not focused on mental health awareness she plays classical piano and sings. She is interested in photography. Most of the photos on the website are hers. Her hobbies include reading, writing, running, yoga, knitting and crocheting. She builds amazing forts. She plays on the beach with her boyfriend. She is a survivor. She is a loving member of the human race.

Cinda Johnson is a professor and the director of the special education graduate program at Seattle University. She is also the principal investigator and director of the Center for Change in Transition Services (http://www.seattleu.edu/ccts). She is a national leader in the area of transition from high school to post-high school settings for young people with disabilities. She has written articles and book chapters in the area of secondary special education and transition services including youth with emotional and behavioral disorders and mental illness. Cinda is on the board for Bring Change 2 Mind and writes blogs for the Balanced Mind. She loves to travel, learn about other cultures, people and places, hike, entertain, learn about the brain, read, write and spend time with her family.
